Please Note

In the Breeds Ring (Specialty and / or All-Breeds Show), no special dog training is required. Your dog will be required to walk round the Ring on a leash without pulling, and then pose standing naturally on all four legs. He must permit the Judge to examine him, including inspection of 'bite' without showing fear or aggression. He will be judged on his looks, i.e., how well he resembles the ideal as given in the Breed Standard. When you walk around the Ring the dog should be moved in such a way that he is on the inside of the Ring with the handler moving on the outside.

In Performing Dogs the dog may perform tricks that are not covered In the Obedience Tests.

(Cross–breeds and mixed breeds can be entered for Obedience and Performing Dogs, provided they have been given appropriate training. They can also participate in the Dogs' Fancy Dress, Agility, Fun-N-Games.
